This trend is nothing new, and there have long been home-owners who have mixed iron, wood and rattan garden furniture and accessories; however, this year is seeing the trend be more pronounced than ever, and expand to single accessories themselves. Items which mix two or more materials are not an uncommon sight across western gardens this summer, and following this trend can help give an outdoor area that extra something which pushes its overall look from appealing to stunning.
Generally speaking, leather furniture doesn't need a lot of attention. A simple maintenance procedure is to wipe the piece down with a lightly dampened cloth at the same frequency you dust the wood furniture in your home. Then, periodically (every 3 - 4 months) apply a quality leather conditioner to instill moisture into the leather. Regularly conditioning your leather will prolong the life of the piece. If you feel the need to "clean" your leather furniture, be sure to use a pH-balanced cleaner appropriate for your type of leather. If you have questions, contact a leather professional.
If there are heavily stained areas, you can repeat the process of steam cleaning once you are done with the entire cleaning.
